We proceed to build a DNA program to genotype all weaned monkeys and their parents. A blood bank is established to store blood samples for all weaned monkeys and their parents. The blood samples are typed by PCR-STR method. This program is to help to confirm the parental relationship of our captive bred monkeys and our breeders.

This is the only DNA program available among all monkey breeding farms in the world.
